An Independent Support Group is a group of local homeschool families who come together for the purpose of assisting and encouraging each other. These groups are comprised of volunteers, and are usually directed by some form of leadership. Independent Support Groups tend to hold regular meetings and activities, and may charge a nominal membership fee. A Support Group is not a business and therefore does not exist to produce goods or services for sale (with the exception of single-event fundraising.)
Support group applications will be reviewed and approved by GHEA. You will be notified once your application has been approved or denied.
