| Program Description | Established in 1992, the mission of H.O.P.E. (Helping Others Prepare for Eternity) Ministries, Inc., is to develop people who are academically and morally strong and to reconcile people to God. In 2010 HOPE Preparatory Group emerged to provide private full-day home school services to students in grades K-8, in partnership with and on the campus of Community Bible Chapel in southeast Atlanta. HOPE Preparatory Group Homeschool is a private Christian homeschool that aims to educate, disciple, and develop young leaders locally to prepare them to serve globally. Our school day is from 8:30am -3:30pm and students are taught in two mixed classrooms by teachers. Students receive instruction in Biblical Studies, ELA/Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, Spanish, and have daily outdoor recreational time. We attend monthly field trips around the city of Atlanta, and students also participate in school clubs on site. These clubs include Leader Club, Bee Amazing Spellers Club, and Art Club currently. Our students complete annual standardized testing each Spring, and also participate in two annual community service projects. We are open to partnering with other homeschool programs. Full-day and half-day educational services may be provided dependent upon the family/student's needs. |
