| Brief description of the group. | The “Homeschool Handicrafts Hangout” will meet at Gritters Library (in Cobb County) on Wednesday, September 3, October 1, and November 5 from 1:30pm-3pm. Bring a handicraft project for each participating child (and parent if desired) and whatever supplies are needed. We will work on our individual projects in a group setting, then hear from a local artisan who will present their craft, their wares, and answer any questions from the group. You can bring single serve dry snacks and covered drinks if desired. This will be a great time to enjoy creativity and community together, see what others are working on, and learn from an experienced artisan. This program is not a class but an educational experience and is FREE! |
