Your child must enroll in and attempt to complete one qualifying course for each semester of the regular school year during any part of which they participate in an extracurricular or interscholastic (E/I) activity.

There are 3 options:

1. An on-site course required for participation in the designated E/I activity;
2. A dual enrollment course;
3. An online course through one of Georgia’s public virtual instructional options  (Georgia Virtual School, contracted provider, inter-district agreements).

You may choose any qualifying course, unless the specified E/I activity has a required course for all participants of the activity.
